Don’t Sleep On These New Hip Hop Releases
Insomniac Magazine comes through once again with another week of top ten sonic heat. Get yourself in gear and check out the action packed list of quality Hip Hop below.
1) WATERR x KURSE brought listeners “Dollars & The Rent” and there’s never been a track in existence this FUNKY!!! WateRR perfectly rides the ill beat with the mic skills of a BEAST while Kurse puts his foot ALL THE WAY in the production resulting in a sonic feast to be remembered for all eternity! In laymen’s terms, it’s straight up DOPE!
2) BROTHERS OF THE STONE joined forces with M.O.P. for a hardcore Hip Hop display called “Duckits!” The beats and rhymes are a high-caliber affair that will smack up your senses and leave you dazed on the floor. We’re definitely living in an alternate reality because the dopest emcees and producers aren’t getting radio play or making the charts. We cut through all that bullsxxt by giving them a spot on the only list that matters! Sending out a big shoutout to the team!
3) SMOOVTH x FLU gave fans “Six Shots” to the dome and blew us all away! #TheWinners spitter steps into the saloon like a renegade outlaw and eviscerates the sinster soundscape in no time flat. If you want to battle this track will be on repeat at your funeral. He’s calling they’re bluff, so don’t play!
4) SOLOMON CHILDS x TONE SPLIFF link up with INSPECTAH DECK and REALIO SPARKZWELL and man, they are “Representin’ Lovely!” That funky boom bap resounds from your speakers and knocks everything out of its path when the crew enter your town! Listen to the lyrical flows and pray for mic skills that can compare to the team. You’ll never get em but hey, it doesn’t hurt to ask.
5) RAS BEATS & SULLY NOMAD give each other a “High 5” as fans worldwide revel in the sonic power of “Iron Sheik Boots!” The track is a pure triumph as beats slam hard enough to propel you into another universe! Sully takes the reins of the maniacally unhinged soundscape and rides it all the way to the top!
6) SPECTACULAR DIAGNOSTICS & ANKHLEJOHN flex RAW STUDIES “Refinement” with a superb showcase of underground excellence! Combine a gloriously smooth groove from the great S.D. with lyrical gems from one of Hip Hop’s most astonishingly amazing emcees and it’s a win everytime!

9) CHRIS SKILLZ, ILL CONSCIOUS & LEFT LANE DIDON navigate through the darkness while spitting dope rhymes on the J.O.D. powered “Saints Of Last Resorts!” The “Blessed Are The Damned” heater reveals that everything that glitters ain’t gold…so you better keep your eyes open at all costs!
