Insomniac Magazine’s Weekly Hip Hop Top Ten: Don’t Sleep On These New Releases

Insomniac Magazine delivers another hard-hitting edition of our Weekly Top Ten! Get set for excitement & enjoy the new heat below!

1) CHONG WIZARD recruits ANKHLEJOHN, VIC SPENCER & CHRIS CRACK for a sadhugold powered comic book adventure on wax called “Wakanda!” “The Power Stone” heater finds our underground superheroes dominating the sonic terrain with vibranium bars & agile flows aplenty. This is how it sounds when the crew gets down. Dare to battle them & you’ll be wiped from existence!

2) DANIEL SON x ASUN EASTWOOD savagely destroy all competition on the Futurewave laced banger “Underbelly!” The mic rippers do damage to the earth-shattering sonic foundation while employing charismatic boasts of greatness. All the bravado is backed up with pure talent. They’ve got skills to pay the bills and an already massive following that’s growing by the second!

3) POUNDS joins forces with MEYHEM LAUREN on a brand new “Pee Wee Kirkland” approved heater! Fith’s solid slice of audio perfection pulls listeners into the violent city streets where s**t can go down any minute! The lyricists give it their all as they paint pictures with vivid rhymes. The code of the street should be honored. Don’t upset the balance or it’s gonna be a “Problem!”

4) ESTEE NACK, HAZE, PARANOM & AL.DIVINO tear up the town & shake the chandeliers on the Dibia$e produced “Morirsonando!” It’s a 4 man mic massacre when the illest spitters on the earth f**k up the set with divine rhymes that’ll blow your mind! There are so many jewels being dropped you’ll need a treasure chest to collect ’em all! Gear yourself up for action & prepare to PRESS PLAY!

5) ILL CONSCIOUS & MWP drop a “Vigilant” power gem featuring RECOGNIZE ALI, SAGEINFINITE & DJ TMB! “Drop A Jewel” contains a soulful soundscape that the lyricists handily eviscerate as TMB complements the action with creative cuts! In an industry filled with fakery it’s good to see true artists cut through the bulls**t. Ill Conscious & Co. ignore the cookie cutter machinations of the industry to carve a new lane of their own!

6) BOZACK MORRIS gets listeners amped for “Loose Cannons 003” by enlisting BLACK MILK for a trip into “The Darkness!” The majestic soundscape cradles the lyricist’s iron flows with an overabundance of boom bap & goth-inspired grooves that shatter all expectations! Bozack Morris & Black Milk were summoned into action by Hip Hop Heads everywhere who were craving new heat. Thank God they answered our call!

7) ROB GATES & RIGZ rep for Da Cloth with an “Independence Day” street heater called “Better Have It!” The ADM powered mastercut places you smack dab in the center of the block with your enemies close behind. The paranoia builds as you listen to the track & you might even look over your shoulder a few times after hearing Rob & Rigz’ graphic rhymes! If you start some s**t you better finish it. These two lyricists always get the job done!

8) JOHN JIGG$ & CUNS enlist BENNY for some “Teflon John” sonic magnificence titled “Non-Fiction!” The gritty track layered with dirty brass horns provides the perfect backdrop for the supreme spitters to catch wreck! If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. No repairs needed. The joint’s in tip top shape!

9) SUPREME CEREBRAL teams up with O THE GREAT, XP THE MARXMAN & ALPHABETIC for a “Kings Throne 2” crowning achievement called “Clubber Lang!” Giallo Point gets ill on the joint by feeding listeners a triumphant sonic backdrop that sounds like you’re heading in the ring for victory! Clubber Lang is the name of the game but it’s a rocky road if you go up against them!

10) JAY NICE excels on a $hy Guy horn-laden heater called “Perfect Cell!” The savage spitter smokes the competition literally & figuratively as he keeps the pump close while delivering verbal smackdowns on his opponents! Don’t play him, don’t play God & don’t play yourself! You’ll be left on the ground as he wipes blood from his crown. Bow down & pray for mercy!

Well that’s it for this week. Catch ya next time and…DON’T SLEEP!
