For years, post-apocalyptic sci-fi literature and films have used water scarcity as a premise for an extinction event. With the realities of tainted water in Flint and the threats raised by Standing Rock protesters who stood up to the Dakota Access Pipeline, it’s evident that protecting our waterways is a pressing issue. As always, the standard bearers at the crossroads between social awareness and impactful music are here to take a stand. The movement continues with PE 2.0 and their powerful track and video- “Water Protectors.”
