Lovebug Starski, one of Hip Hop’s greatest pioneers is reported to have passed away. The legendary DJ and emcee is credited as being one of the first to use the term “Hip Hop.” Known for his electric performances, including those at the historic Bronx night club Disco Fever during the ’70s, the iconic talent was also in an elite group of trailblazers to release a rap record in 1979. RIP Lovebug Starski.
