The JustShuddup.com blog is reporting that the legendary rapper/producer Erick Sermon suffered a heart attack last night. As well, the twitter account for EPMD’s DJ Scratch also sent out this word earlier today, stating “Erick Sermon had a heart attack today. He’s ok, but still send your prayers. He is not on Twitter.”
Sermon is 1/2 of the legendary Hip Hop group EPMD that got started in the mid to later 80’s on Fresh Records and later signed to Def Jam. We wish E-Double a speedy recovery. Below is a picture published in Insomniac Magazine during the group’s stop on the Fresh Fest Tour.
