Review: Jakk Jo (ft. Cre8tive x 93Bread x Kil’lab) -“All Dat I Do”

As the son of New Orleans legend Mia X, mic ripper Jakk Jo literally has Hip Hop embedded within his DNA. In an era where many rap heirs fall far short of the throne, Jakk excels in all aspects of his career because he possesses a commodity sorely lacking in today’s music industry – raw, unvarnished talent.  On his latest sonic expedition, Jakk expands on his prodigious repertoire by joining forces with Dallas, TX rhyme renegades Cre8tive, 93Bread & Kil’lab for a General Savage laced gem called “All Dat I Do.”

Fans will be drawn into the action from the very start.  Instead of delivering a standard club joint or run-of-the-mill trap production, the crew throw listeners a curve ball with a high-powered Afro-Caribbean arrangement. Jakk sets the tone with self-assured vocals before handing things off to the team. Cre8tive shakes up the scene with his contagiously raspy flow  then makes way for a smooth showcase from 93Bread. Kil’lab swoops in like a serious shot-caller & puts his definitive stamp on the track. Their bankroll is swole as they ball wit’ the crew. Rhyming might be all dat they do but dammit they do it so well.
