J’Moris stays “Activated” by electrifying the set with a ‘one of a kind’ display of style & lyricism. On past projects, the Hillsboro, TX based verbal virtuoso sometimes downplayed his prowess on the mic. That modest approach is completely discarded this go ’round in favor of unwavering confidence and bravado. Supermario Beats supplies an impressive piano-laden, trap-heavy arrangement while Artist Named CHI constructs a clip that helps the MC tap into his inner Urkel. Although the aforementioned sitcom character is associated with all things awkward, J’Moris rides the groove with the utmost finesse.
In terms of lyrical gymnastics, J is the Simone Biles of this s**t. He flips flows with ease and can’t be bothered to buy a watch cause he ain’t got time!
