Texas lyricist J’Moris celebrates the freedom of living on his own in the new Gera helmed visual for “Off The Porch.” While his peers are still dependent on their parents, the Hillsboro Hustler relishes in the fact he can survive without a handout. A bouncy southern groove floods the speakers & instantly catapults the artist into action. J then toys with the beat and flaunts a smooth “in the pocket” flow that elevates the track to another level.
We witness the rapper play with his kids and hang out with friends…but he also stresses the importance of hard work. It takes determination, discipline, and a great deal of inner strength to succeed in the industry. J’Moris has all of these qualities…and then some! As the power spitter prepares to hit the next plateau of his career he surveys the neighborhood & shakes his head. There’s plenty of potential but most locals lack the drive to go all the way.
