Review: MonClaire – “Chosen”/”Another One”/”Bruce Wayne” (Singles)

New York’s MonClaire takes 2020 by the reins & launches into the New Year with a 3 track celebration of Hip Hop & Pop. “Chosen,” “Another One,” and “Bruce Wayne” are the sonic highlights of the moment & they represent different facets of the artist’s personality. Each Ryan Weezna produced selection contains infectious grooves & a multitude of propulsive beats. Listeners will be compelled by the rhythms to drop everything they’re doing & take up permanent residence at the club!

The first track finds the performer flossing ’round town in anticipation of his preordained destiny as the music world’s next big superstar. You could say he’s faking it until he makes it…but MonClaire’s “Chosen” so there’s nothing to worry about. While the previous cut showcased the dreamer within, “Another One” focuses on the lyricist’s lascivious nature. It’s all about his libido…and it seems that one-night stands & daily visits to the strip club will never be enough to satisfy his sexual desires.

“Bruce Wayne” features MonClaire in incognito mode. He’s riding around town playing the background while bursting at the seams to reveal his inner Batman. It’s a conflict all artists must contend with. How do you maintain any degree of anonymity when your entire career is based upon appearing in the public eye? Surprisingly all the ladies see through his disguise. He’s an untamed lion who can’t be caged! MonClaire obviously has his pulse on the current music scene. Catchy hooks & breezy rhymes combined with uptempo arrangements are the perfect formula for success. He may be relatively unknown at the moment but things are most certainly looking bright for the future.
