Inglewood, California’s Rhawn B beats competitors into submission with his latest project, “Expensive Ignorance.” The album showcases explosive beats & rhymes that threaten to overpower your ear drums and shatter your speakers while keeping you running back for more!

The action begins with the “Expensive Ignorance” title track. Rhawn perfectly implements Reggae elements into an atmospheric Trap backdrop that enhance the cut and shine a light on the artist’s creativity and varied musical tastes. “Ain’t Gotta Question” is next to receive the star treatment with its spacey chords and take no prisoners rhymes. “Status Booming” (featuring Rey Little & Wessy West) keeps the party moving forward as the lyricists brag about their ever-growing popularity. “No Guidance” slows things down with a smooth track that puts Rhawn’s vocals front and center. The minimalist cut is a refreshing alternative to the manner in which the previous cuts all but buried his lyrical contributions. It’s great to TURN UP, but we also want to pay attention to what the lyricist has to say. This song serves that purpose. “Just Get To It” is another low-key cut by comparison…but a funky one! Sections of the song where Rhawn is only rhyming over the keys are magic because it makes listeners appreciate the sudden drop of the beat that much more!

“See It, Want It” contains a driving bassline that will immediately catch your attention. The rapper flows over the track with carefully crafted precision before dropping “Stay In My Zone,” which exhibits cascading synths that propel Rhawn B into an inspired rant about his daily grind. “Aligned”(featuring an impressive turn from T. Bailey)possesses an eerie soundscape that can be best described as ‘Trap in a Haunted House’ while “Vibe Right”(featuring D. Real)gets into a lurid sexual encounter that must be heard to be believed. “Perfect Potion” sports a killer groove and brings the album to a close by reinforcing the artist’s promise to “keep the dreams in motion.” I don’t think he needs to worry. It’s easy to see that with more projects like “Expensive Ignorance,” Rhawn B’s dreams will soon be realized.
