Righteous, a vetted Canadian MC/CEO of Taot Recordings recruits DJ Mercilless and Ruste Juxx for his single/video “What Is.” The track is the lead of his latest project ‘and the DEVIL is.’
DJ Mercilless sets off the video annihilating the 1’s and 2’s while Righteous is digging in the crates. Through clever wordplay and gem-dropping punchlines, Righteous defines the role of an emcee and DJ. Ruste Juxx piggybacks that theme as What is an emcee if he can’t rap, what is a DJ if he can’t scratch buzzes ear canals.
