The Sutra Lounge, a New York City hotspot known for its revolving door of hip hop deejays, will host a farewell party Sept. 10th. Questlove of The Roots will be manning the turntables and some of the past celebrities on the wheels of steel(Afrika Bambaataa, D-Nice, Bizmarkie, Stretch Armstrong, KRS-One & Q-Tip)are expected to get the party jumping for the weekends leading up to the event. The ten year old lounge may reopen in a new space on the Lower East side, but only time will tell.
