UB40 unveils a cinematic treat with the “Message Of Love” video featuring New Zealand’s House Of Shem. The vivid visuals mark the first track off the reggae vets’ upcoming project. Bigga Baggariddim is comprised of collabs with musicians from around the globe. A callback to the band’s ’85 album Baggariddim, they reunite with collaborators from over the many years including Tippa Irie, BLVK H3RO, Inner Circle, Pablo Rider, Winston Francis, Leno Banton and many others.
Director Dan Hart captures the familial vibes as UB40 jams on the screen with musicians and siblings Te Omeka and Isaiah Perkins along with their late father, House Of Shem founder Carl Perkins. Having formed a connection with the senior Perkins decades ago, the music icons celebrate their musical bond with this smooth and soulful piece that also serves as a tribute to their friend.
