The Griselda Records crew are currently dominating the underground & their ascent to superstardom is all but assured! Having said that, it’s always fun to go back & check out old material from the crew (WestSideGunn, Conway, and Benny) to hear how their distinctive flows and styles were first being developed. Mr. Diego treats fans to 3 volumes of the GxFR collective’s early years with tracks that include material from talented unknowns like Apocalypse da Emporer, cherished member of the fam – the late Machine Gun Black, and of course bars from the usual suspects we’ve come to know & love! There’s even a Conway joint called “Loose Cannon” where he rhymes over Eminem’s “Stan” instrumental(which serves as a type of foreshadowing for their coveted Shady Records deal).
