Hip-Hop meets heritage on Recetas, the latest concept album from Mic Mountain. Released on September 15, 2026, kickoff for Spanish Heritage Month, the project uses traditional Puerto Rican dishes and beverages as inspiration for 13 tracks filled with storytelling, humor, life lessons, and cultural pride.
From the sweetness of Dulce De Leche to the comfort of Sancocho and the celebration found in Sangría, each song offers a different perspective on Puerto Rican life and tradition. Produced by Mr. Scratch Hook, Goliath Kong, and DNA Beatz, Recetas also features guest appearances from Thirstin Howl the 3rd, Powerule, and several respected voices from the independent Hip Hop scene.
