Boda has become my mixing/mastering engineer, and my friend/family.”

On the production of the music video, the talented emcee explained, “…I wanted to honor Chopped Herring and my first ever vinyl drop with a dope video. “Pasta Sauce” is the track on the EP that I’ve always had a vision for and an opportunity to work with an amazing artist and videographer named Nor Kin4life presented itself. I went to ATL to shoot a video for “All Night” a single in collaboration [“All Night”] with “That Junkies Hip Hop Show”…Nor Kin4life was one of the emcees on the track and we connected and made a masterpiece together. It was amazing. She directed, shot, and edited the video. A Goddess friend let us use her beautiful home to shoot it. I love what Nor created and brought to life. It was a pleasure building with her and definitely expect more collabs between Nor, Butterfly Feels, and I. Lots of beautiful connections, magic, and pure greatness were made while I was out there, and the “Pasta Sauce” video is a representation of that.”

Frequent readers know Nejma has been featured on the site many times and that she employs classic era aesthetics and exudes true school vibes, when asked about this Golden Era ambiance, she conveyed, “If my vibe is golden era, it’s because I grew up and started rapping in that era. It was what influenced and inspired me as an emcee. I became Hip Hop in that era and a part of Hip Hop Culture. My mother introduced me to Hip Hop, and Roxanne Shante and Rakim made me wanna rap. I grew up in the streets, and that’s where Hip Hop lived.”
